Aluminum coil refers to the aluminum coil rolled and processed by aluminum ingot and can be applied to various fields like automotive, construction, furniture, and more. According to the composition of alloy, Aluminum coil is divided into:
1.High-Purity Aluminum coil( rolled from high purity aluminum, content above 99.9);
2. Pure Aluminum coil(rolled from pure aluminum);
3. Alloy Aluminum coil(composed of aluminum and auxiliary alloys, usually aluminum copper, aluminum manganese, aluminum silicon,aluminum magnesium, etc);
4. Composite Aluminum coil (special purpose aluminum plate formed by compositing multiple materials);

Aluminum coil is a kind of metal plate, which is melted from aluminum ingot and processed into aluminum coil by casting rolling, hot rolling, cold rolling, annealing, cross cutting and other processes.

Color coated aluminum coil is divided into polyester coated aluminum coil (PE) and fluorocarbon coated aluminum coil (PVDF).
1000 series aluminum alloy: belongs to the series with the most aluminum content. The commonly used aluminum alloy includes 1050,1060 and 1100. The purity can reach more than 99.00%. Since it does not contain other technical elements, the production process is relatively simple and the price is relatively cheap. It is currently the most commonly used series in conventional industries.
3000 series aluminum alloy: belongs AL-Mn series alloy and it is the most widely used anti-rust aluminum.Manganese is the main component and the content is between 1.0-1.5, which makes the aluminum alloy have good anti-rust function. The commonly used aluminum alloy includes 3003, 3004, 3A21.
5000 series aluminum alloy: belongs to anti-rust aluminum, and it is called aluminum-magnesium alloy, whose magnesium content is as high as 3-5%. The main features are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. It is also widely used in conventional industries. The commonly used aluminum alloy include 5052, 5005, 5083, and 5086.
6000 series aluminum alloy: mainly contains magnesium and silicon, thus it has the advantages of 4000 series and 5000 series. The commonly used aluminum alloy is 6061 and 6063. 6061 is a cold-treated aluminum forging product, suitable for the applications with high requirements for corrosion resistance and oxidation. It has the characteristics of easy coating and good processability.

Aluminum alloy plates have been widely used in aviation, aerospace, automobile, machinery manufacturing, ship building and chemical industry. With the rapid development of science and technology and industrial economy in recent years, the demand for aluminum alloy welding
structure is increasing. Different series of aluminum alloys have different application.
Here are some typical applications within the scope of these specifications :
Utility board, used for all general sheet metal works, such as waterproof board, piping system, lining wall, etc.

The 1100-O is mainly used for spinning and drawing operations such as utensils, ornaments, etc.

1100-H14 and 3003-H14 are standard alloys for general molding operations.
 
The physical characteristics of 5005-H14 are similar to 3003-H14, with excellent corrosion resistance and uniform smooth surface finish suitable for anodic oxidation. The alloy is suitable for curtain wall, decorative parts, control panel boxes and signs, etc.

5052-H32 and H34 are high strength alloys with good molding quality, particularly suitable for Marine applications.  

5083-H321 and H323 are different tempered alloys that yield higher joint efficiency. It is used in tank operation, heavy
transport, etc., its welding performance can play an advantage.  

5544-H32, a sister alloy of 5083, has a lower stress corrosion rating when operating in the 150°F to 300°F range. Typical use is truck dump trucks, tank trucks, exhaust pipes, chemical treatment tanks on ships, etc.

6061-T6 is an excellent general purpose alloy with high strength and good corrosion resistance. It is used for all structural
applications such as harvesters, logging chutes and ship construction.  

Painted aluminium: 1100, 3003, 3105, 5005 and 5052 are just some of the alloys commonly found in painted products. Painted aluminum has a wide range of mechanical properties and finishes including high durability external coatings, dedicated epoxies, polyesters, textured polyesters, fluorocarbons and metallic compounds, and wash coating primers. Standard colors can be selected, or customized according to specifications. Most coatings have one and two sides.
